Danny,
You know how, sometimes, you wish to have a book that not only is interesting but you just can't put down? Well, that is how it was when I began reading your book. I could not put it down and didn't want to miss one word. While I am a little older than you, so much of what you wrote brought those years back to mind and, like you, I learned so much the hard way.., nothing was handed to us on a silver platter. I think sometimes we cherish the things we learned more than if it were easily come by. Thank you for sharing not only your life with us but the history that surrounded you throughout those years. I seemed to be there.., your writing made me 'know' your parents. I felt the emotion of losing your precious daughter and your darling wife who was your best friend, and the love you have for your fine son is so clearly pictured. Thank you for putting it all down and sharing it with us. But thank you most of all for sharing your faith in Jesus Christ and how, even in times of sorrow, He has never forsaken you.., has never failed you.

Danny,
I had a hard time putting your book down. I kept reading when I knew I should be doing some house work or reading my Bible. I lived the times with you. I grew up in the same time frame, so could relate to a lot of it. You are like me, you "learned the hard way", but mine was not in electronics..it was "what not to do in life" in order to succeed. You have a way of expressing yourself so clearly, you "paint a picture" of the moment in time so that we experience it with you. I will share your website with all my friends and hopefully they too will read your book. I knew you and Teresa for a few short years. Teresa was a special friend to me and many times and she explained what was happening with me--Spiritually. She will always hold a special place in my heart and now you do too. I feel like I have made a new friend by reading your book and sharing your life. Keep on writing for us. Helen

Danny, I thoroughly enjoyed your book. I knew you were a man of many talents, but I had no idea! I still can't believe that somewhere in your genes there must be some artistic talents like your Dad's that is still just waiting to come out. It's amazing how parallel and similar our lives have been. Being a year or two younger than you, we still grew up in the same 'time warp', so to speak. Your growing up years were like mine, going thru hard times and doing odd jobs for a dime. I also loved cars and had some hot rod customs. I went through the partying and social drinking stages, being an officer in the local Jaycees. One big difference I remember is when I bought my first color TV, you were home building your own from scratch! Although being brought up in the Church by a Christian family, my real walk began, strangely enough, by receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit as you did. Bottom line is, your life's walk is an inspiration to me and I count it my gain to have walked some with you, Teresa, and Tracie.
